Blessings to Everyone! My name is Brenda. I am a wife (for 25 yrs) and a mother of 2 adult children. I started my yoga journey six years ago on what began as a means for me to exercise and lose weight. I quickly understood that it was so much more than that! Every time I came to my mat I realized that Yoga was a very nurturing way to take care of myself; mentally, physically and spiritually. It made me curious about this thing we all know as Yoga. I made the conscious decision to deepen my practice by enrolling in 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher Training under Ryan Leier. I completed Level 1 in September of 2016 and then had the honour of completing my Level 2 Teacher training in March of 2017 in beautiful Victoria, BC.
I would like to create space in my class for everyone who has an interest in Yoga especially those people who may not think they can do Yoga. My style of teaching is Vinyasa with influences from Ramaswami.
I am grateful that I have the opportunity to be part of the Santosha community in this beautiful space. I want to encourage you all to not take yourself too serious on your mat and to enjoy experimenting with your Asana.
